PERAGO

Greek-American · New York tri-state

Greek roots, carried across to New York.

Fresh produce for the tri-state’s kitchens — and properties and hospitality brands built in the same Greek spirit.

The name

To carry across.

Perago takes its name from the ancient Greek peráō — to cross over, to carry from one shore to the next.

We are Greek Americans, and the name is our story. We carry the Greek way with food — fresh, seasonal, generous — into how we work in New York.

Founded by

Peter Orphanos & Teddy Kambouris

A Brooklyn-raised restaurant and real estate operator and a New York technology entrepreneur — two Greek Americans building a group around the things a Greek family table is made of.
